The 2024 WPL was the second season, featuring five teams; Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, Delhi Capitals, and UP warriorz. RCB and Delhi Capitals were in the finals and RCB won the title. This was Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise's maiden cup across both men and women. The venues of the WPL 2024 were M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru and Arun Jaitley cricket stadium at New Delhi. The Inaugural edition of the Women's cricket league was held  from 23 February to 17 March 2024  on February 23, 2024 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
